MORE INFO

It advocates an adaptive decision-making, upfront effort, true participation, risks consideration and encourages robustness, structure, performance, cost reduction, transparent communication and equity.

S.O.O.D.E. decision-making method Process

Simple. Agile. Robust.

The 1st step makes sure the context of the decision is well understood, the key stakeholders and decision maker(s) identified, as well as the decision date.

The 2nd step helps uncover the objectives and decision criteria to be used in evaluating efficiently the potential options.

The 3rd step insures the potential options are evaluated and any risks assessment.

The 4th step is decision time! The identified decision makers meet to decide and evaluate their decision readiness. If a positive result is achieved, the decision is captured as well as the establishment of a communication and implementation plan.

The 5th step calls for a follow-up on the decision by tracking the expected results through its implementation plan and risk assessment. This last step also calls for knowledge transfer.
